Who I Am
I am passionate about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who has blessed me with more than I deserve. I am from the paradise island nation of Dominica and have been blessed with a beautiful wife (inside and out), two amazing children, and two of the world’s most precious grandkids.
I am also a retired leader with thirty-two years of experience at a company known for developing exceptional leaders, Procter & Gamble. Now, I get to focus on what I truly love: developing others to reach their full potential.
My Mission
My life’s mission is to be a blessing to those I interact with and make a positive difference in at least one person’s life each day. I do that through sharing, coaching, counseling, and training others to be their best selves and be empowered leaders. My motto is People need to know that you care before they care what you know.
My Experience
As a servant leader, I have a proven track record of building collaborative relationships and driving transformational changes in individuals and organizations globally to deliver breakthrough results. This includes high-performance organization design, strategic team development, and talent development.
My leadership experience spans Manufacturing Operations, Process Engineering, Organizational Development, Work Process Design, Project Management, and Supply Planning. My efforts in multiple Joint Ventures around the globe have led to collaborative solutions and benchmark results. Above all, I have a passion for giving back. Therefore, it is also gratifying to be sought after by many as a mentor and coach.
It is my pleasure to leverage my wealth of knowledge and experience to empower individuals and enable organizations to deliver transformative results now and in the future.
I am also a poet and a photographer.
What I Believe In
- Jesus is the son of God, and without Him I am nothing.
- Great leaders are not born. They are developed.
- Anyone can learn to lead and learn to become exceptional.
- Great leaders demonstrate all-around leadership: Leading from the Head, Hands, and Heart.
- You are a better leader when you integrate the Hand of God in your leadership style.
Why I Chose To Write This Blog
I live my mission by being kind to those I randomly interact with when out and about, and through mentoring, sponsoring, and coaching of others, by gifting my time and talents.
As my professional career transitioned to a new beginning outside of corporate America, I naturally developed a desire to continue my mission in ways that can reach more individuals much faster so that I can bless and enable their professional growth and development. To accomplish that, I am using this blog to share my practical, faith-grounded experiences versus “preaching” leadership skills.
My prayer is that I can help leaders like you to:
- See the practical Grace of God in your life,
- Acknowledge and embrace the Grace of God in your successes, and
- Enable you to become a more “grace-full” leader of others.
